Vacancy Rate for Symphony Apartments is High - For Now

Area real estate website SymphonyApartments.com has conducted a study and determined that 14.09% of the apartments in the Symphony area are available.

Feb. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The vacancy rate was calculated using data from the site’s massive apartment listing database, using a sample of 1887 Symphony apartments (not including luxury units). While this number is quite high, part of the reason so many apartments are available may be because this is the time of year when leases on apartments beginning Sept. 1 are typically renewed. Because the Symphony area is close to so many universities and houses a large number of students, the fact that many of them may not have renewed the leases on the apartments they are already occupying could be contributing to the high amount of units listed as available.

If you are looking to rent an apartment in the Symphony area, that means you should start making serious moves towards locking up a rental unit soon. Once many of the current occupants start resigning their leases for next year, the vacancy rate in the Symphony area is likely to drop to a much lower number, especially over the next two months, which is typically when most leases are renewed. But if you start looking for a new apartment now, you’ll be able to choose from the largest roster of available apartments possible. Delaying your search will only result in you being able to choose from less options.
