The Aquillrelle Wall of Poetry, book two
A so called “book two” has to live up to the expectations created by book one, right? Right. It does.
Some names are repeats, some are new, some are even new and less experienced poets. In our philosophy – everyone who shows the spark of talent, even if not yet fully ignited to flame, deserves the right to be seen and heard. And this book is conceived according to this philosophy, as those many poets following us and working with us can certainly witness to.
The poems were collected mainly from our FB wall. Some were sent specifically for the anthology, which is fine as well. We hardly touched them for edit/typos because poetry is one of those arts where error might be intentional and error might be part of the beauty. Sure, the
eventually spotted “its” was corrected to “it’s” wherever obviously needed. Even there we had a moment’s hesitation as some poets use this sort of typo in some kind of intentional rebellion... well, we hope that those poets did point the matter to us in advance.
Read it, enjoy it. Read the others and learn from them. We learn from all of you.
