Feb. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- All Street’s Alternative Finance UnConference is an unconventional platform bringing together both alternative and traditional financial players to discuss the benefits and impact of the significant shift in the global financial
paradigm. The event aims to provide an alternative to the traditional one-way conferences through a more collaborative social framework where attendees can be the speakers. So far, the proposed talks from the participants include:
 Baroness Kramer, Liberal Democrat peer, who will deliver a keynote about regulation and alternative finance
 John Spindler, Founder of Next Generation Finance Consortium and CEO at Capital Enterprise will explore the peer-to-peer finance space together with:
o Bruce Davis, Managing Director at Abundance;
o Theresa Burton, Buzzbank;
o Simon Dixon, CEO at Bank To the Future and
o Brett Scott, Finance Lab Fellow
 Nick Harris, Corporate Finance Director at Allenby Capital, will give an overview of alternative currencies
 Tara Swart, Executive Coach will talk about Neuroscience in Business or how the brain influences behaviour and performance in executives
 Andrew Jackson, Head of Research at Positive Money will talk about “Where does the Money Come From”

“All Street wants to provide to every individual the right to both seek and receive information from all points of view without restriction,” says founder Emanuela Vartolomei. “All Street is committed to giving free access of all expressions of ideas through which any and all sides of a question, cause or solution may be explored”

With its inaugural Alternative Finance UnConference on 23 February, the first in a series of regular events, All Street places the focus on crowdfunding, inviting participants to explore the alternative finance landscape and asks key questions such as: Who and where are the main crowdfunding platforms? How much equity can you raise for your business? How to run an effective crowdfunding campaign and choose the right platform? What are the regulatory challenges? What tools does the crowd use to evaluate the potential of emerging businesses? What type of businesses do the models work best for? What level of returns can equity crowd funding deliver? What are the best ways of harnessing crowd investors to support business development? How successful are businesses at raising follow-up capital after crowdfunding?
