ORIGINAL LEGENDS All-Star Game is Giving Back to the Community

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 5, 2013 - Legends Entertainment Group and McNeil Marketing Group presents a celebration of basketball with the legends we know and love. This historic and groundbreaking event is unprecedented, and will give fans and basketball lovers the chance to see their favorite legend playing on the same court. The game will include but not limited to Tim Hardaway, Christian Laettner, Steve Francis, James Worthy, Michael Findley, Sam Cassel, Theo Ratliff, Shawn Kemp, Dominique Wilkins, Bonzi Wells, James Posey, and many more. These original legends will be  playing on one court at the University of Houston’s Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston, TX during All-Star Weekend 2013.  The Original Legends Game will take place on February 16, 2013 at 2pm and will include celebrity coaches and commentators. Celebrities from all industries will be in high attendance. ABOUT THE RODNEY ROGERS FOUNDATION

The Rodney Rogers Foundation (TRRF) is a non-profit 501c3 organization located in Timberlake, North Carolina. Durham native Rodney Rogers created the foundation for the purpose of assisting individuals who are also currently experiencing life in a paralyzed condition.  The Foundation aims to assist those experiencing a life of paralysis by funding projects that provide direct services to those affected by spinal cord injury.  Rodney plans to use his "Voice" as a means of empowerment and mobility for individuals experiencing paralysis and his plans are that his foundation raises financial support for patients that cannot afford the high cost of rehabilitation and treatment.  TRRF plans are to assist with resources, raise funds and awareness until the day such are no longer necessary.

ABOUT THE BRIAN GRANT FOUNDATION

Brian Grant spent 12 years in the NBA and after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, he decided to start his own foundation to bring awareness to others about the disease.  In 2010, the Brian Grant Foundation was established as a means to build awareness and education of Parkinson’s disease in order to increase earlier diagnosis, educate patients and their families, and provide a viable forum for people affected by Parkinson’s.
