National Notary Association Names Arlington Businessman A Finalist For Its Prestigious 2013 Notary of the Year Award
LOS ANGELES, February 4, 2013 -- The National Notary Association (NNA), the leader in best practices, training, and advocacy for the nation’s community of 4.4 million Notaries, has selected Arlington, Virginia resident John Kenneth Cole — a management consultant — as one of five honorees for the Association’
“The Notary of the Year designation is the highest honor bestowed upon Notaries Public in the United States,” said Phillip Browne, the NNA’s Director of Communications. “As an honoree, Mr. Cole exemplifies the ideals of integrity, impartiality, selflessness and public service—all important qualities of a Notary Public as they protect Americans from ID theft and document fraud.”
The NNA’s Notary of the Year awards program recognizes Notaries whose actions and accomplishments go above and beyond their basic commissioned duty, and who have served to elevate the trust and integrity associated with the American Notary Public office. Honorees are chosen based upon their achievements in notarial performance, community service, providing notarial services to the less fortunate, working to enact needed legislation, and promoting the role of a Notary Public.
Cole is recognized for his outstanding efforts to promote education and professionalism in his industry, plus volunteer efforts with the Alexandria and Virginia Medical Reserve Corps and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
