Michael E. Ross Joins Newly Renamed Ruben Firsel & Ross LLC

Ross, an established expert in all aspects of commercial real estate law, has become a senior partner in the newly renamed firm of Ruben Firsel & Ross LLC (“RFR”). He joins senior partners Philip Ruben and Michael Firsel in the firm they founded in 2011, which specializes in corporate, real estate, securities, and estate planning law from its offices in Chicago and Bannockburn. Ross officially joined RFR on January 14, 2013, and the firm’s name change took place on the same day. The firm formerly was known as Ruben Firsel & Rosenfeld LLC.

Ross comes to RFR with a long track record of advising clients in the commercial real estate industry, most recently as a partner with Thompson Coburn LLP and prior to that at Schain, Burney, Ross & Citron. His extensive experience covers commercial leasing, commercial lending, commercial and retail acquisition and development, apartment multi-family acquisition and development, and financing including securitized loans and matters involving restructuring for income tax purposes as they relate to real estate development.
