Holsman Physical Therapy And Wellness, PC Opens In Cedar Grove, NJ

Feb. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- CEDAR GROVE, NJ,  – The Holsman family of Physical and Occupational Therapy centers has expanded to six metro New Jersey locations with the recent opening of Holsman Physical Therapy and Wellness PC at 408 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ,  under the direction of Fritzie Penales-Cempron and supervision of Company President and CEO Richard Holsman, PT, MAT, GCS.  

This location has been operational since October 2012 but we are holding our formal opening on February 12, 2013 at 4pm and as an opening treat we will be conducting FREE balance and fall screening, strength assessment and state-of-the-art equipment demo for the whole month of February. The 16,000 sq. ft. Cedar Grove location employs two full time physical therapists, four bed exam room and treats patients of all ages, offering physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as therapies for sports injuries, back pain, spine rehabilitation, balance disorders and other conditions.

This new Holsman location is fully equipped with state-of-the art rehabilitation equipment, including traction machines, treadmills, parallel bars, swiss balls, free weights, laser machines for pain management, Biodek functional trainer, recumbent bicycles and open areas for stretching.  Therapeutic massage therapists are also available and interactive video programs are also utilized for balance training.

Holsman’s physical therapists work with all gross motor movement issues, including mobility, joint, arthritis, ligament, soft-tissue and sports injuries. Its Occupational therapists concentrate on achieving fine motor skills for daily living, such as grooming, bathing, dressing and eating.  The centers’ speech therapists work with a patient’s swallowing and cognitive response to speech.  Patients include those with traumatic brain injuries, stroke and other causes of speech impairment. Vestibular rehabilitation is also addressed for those suffering from dizziness or vertigo.

Like all Holsman Centers, the Cedar Grove location offers free transportation to and from its facilities for patients who are unable to drive.  Patients should contact the office to arrange for transportation.  The facility is handicap accessible.“Holsman offers New Jersey direct access to physical therapy, meaning no referrals or prescriptions are needed for treatment at a Holsman facility, unless required by individual insurance carriers,” says Richard Holsman.  “We accept all insurance policies except Medicaid and Medicaid HMO.”
