By: John Beth Consulting According to the 2013 Financial Times MBA ranking, the School has the most internationally diverse student body (94%) and faculty (86%). London Business School also scored the overall second highest rank for international mobility, which reflects its global focus. In the Global MBA Rankings 2013, the School’s programme ranked fourth, right behind Harvard, Stanford and Wharton. “Our aim at London Business School is to equip tomorrow’s global business leaders”, so Wendy Alexander, Associate Dean, Degree Programmes and Career Services at London Business School. According to this year’s ranking the School also scored the top spot for fulfilling the goals of its students. This ranking is based on a number of criteria and compromises 20 metrics with a primary focus on career success. The current salaries of the business school’s MBA class of 2009 are included, three years after they graduated; value for money and recommendations from employers. Data going back three years was used to calculate the rankings. “Building on our globally diverse student, faculty and alumni body, our MBA now offers the brand-new Global Business Experiences, world-wide career treks and unique access into networks that extend across the world. It’s absolutely critical to us that we provide our students with the global exposure that tomorrow’s employers demand”, so Alexander. London Business School’s forward thinking efforts to increase the students’ intercultural and global exposure, such as international experience, comprising internships, student treks and exchanges also ranked excellently, tenth overall.
