Michael Lax commissioned to create 100 posters of guitar legends

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 5, 2013 - Doggy Boy Media will be releasing the first six posters in a series of 100 famous guitar legends. The artists, Michael Lax, originally from New Jersey, now living in Tennessee is known for powerful and bold graphic design. He has been working on these posters for the past year and is ecstatic about the designs.

"So far, the one that I reallly like is the Hendrix poster." Michael said, "As a child growing up in the 60's, Hendrix's influence was rather strong." Michael continued "It's no surprise that Hendrix is one of the guitar legends, unfortunately his writing is sometimes overlooked because of his guitar work, but if you read the lyrics, they're deep, meaningful and current,"

The six posters being released besides Jimi Hendrix, include Duane Allman, Johnny Winter, Curt Cobain, Billy Gibbons and Willie Nelson. These posters will be available for purchase only at Doggyboymedia.com. The edition is limited with only 50 being produced of each design. The poster is a high end photographic print and is tentatively priced at $119.99 each. The web site is currently undergoing some changes and should be live by Friday, February 8th.
