HTML5 game what is it?
If you are a game developer this may appear like an irresistible range of platforms and technologies to challenge with, and it is. Agreement, Corona and Flash/AIR can hit many of the platforms listed above with considerably less endeavor. But the platform is growing in the fastest way and of most vital right now is the Mobile Web and that is now strongly in the domain of HTML5 technology only.
So why should we list out all of the other platforms? It is for the reason that we believe to be a flourishing developer nowadays, you more or less need to take a shotgun advance to your game. Attaining it on as many places as likely, while finding the middle ground for its integrity as little as possible. Thus forming lots of small income rivulet all curving back to you. Many more games, on many more platforms, expectantly over time puts up those streams in to a proper violent flow of income.
If your effort is for a corporation that has a sharp hairy boss organizing up all keyed up about this new fangled HTML5 obsession, at least now you have some admiration of the gigantic scope of technology and platforms that simple request can span. Of course when people say that what they frequently mean is “I want it to work on my iPhone” (i.e. “Don’t use Flash”) but now you can see it is not as simple as that. Grave thought has to be put in to focusing the right platform, deciding how many versions to develop and what trade-offs you are eager to make down the way.
