By: Pixie and Punk TWICKENHAM, England: After a successful trial on the run up to Christmas, Pixie and Punk launches a range of micro wooden jigsaws developed in conjunction with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles. Following on 2012’s successful introduction of co-branded wooden jigsaws we have decided to further expand our range with nine postcard sized micro puzzles featuring fun designs. The designs are by Tagore Ramoutar from Pixie and Punk and feature images and characters from his books. The puzzles are made in the UK by Wentworth Wooden Puzzles and come in an attractive box. The Jigsaw is manufactured using wood from forests managed on a sustainable yield basis. The finely cut wooden jigsaw puzzles feature unique Wentworth "Whimsy" pieces. They feature no two pieces the same, no corner shapes and straight edges in the middle piece. The jigsaws are postcard sized (12cm x 8.2cm) and feature either 40 pieces including 5 whimsy pieces. The jigsaws are laser cut in Britain from 3mm board. The jigsaws are suitable for over 5 years old and are targeted at kids of all ages (including adults). The jigsaws feature a photograph plus character from Eric and Rufus Children’s Books. The nine designs are: “Eric Boyle Loves Shark Wooden Puzzle”, “Little Girl Wooden Puzzle”, “Rufus on a Tractor Wooden Puzzle”, “Cool Planes Wooden Puzzle”, “Jacob Rabbit Wooden Puzzle”, “Brownie the Monkey Wooden Puzzle”, “I Love You More Than A Carrot Cake!” and “I Love You More Than A Sausage Roll!”. The jigsaws are great gifts and fit in your pocket or handbag making them perfect for travel (can be done on an plane) or even for keeping the kids busy at a restaurant. They make great stocking fillers and the “I love you more than…” range great for Valentine’s Day. BACKGROUND Pixie and Punk is a premium children’s gift brand for 6 months to seven year old.
