Award Winning White Mountain brewery taps first batch from impressive new facility.

Feb. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Woodstock, NH, February 5, 2013 - The Woodstock Inn, Station & Brewery announced this week that they are up to full brewing operations in their new $3 million facility, designed by leading architectural design firm, Alba Architects. The highly anticipated first brews from the newly expanded and award winning Brewery are beginning to pour this week and signal the start of the next chapter for this local landmark.
The architectural history of the Woodstock Inn has been well documented, including sawing in half an old train station and transporting it across town to be attached to the renovated 1800's Victorian home that made up the original establishment. "The history and character of these buildings is a big part of our identity" said Owner Scott Rice. "That atmosphere is what we are known for. So when it came time to expand to the scale we needed, we had to do it in a way that preserved the character of the original buildings while being extremely functional."

The new 13,500 square foot facility has expanded brewing capacity from 7 to 37 barrels, added 40 seats to the restaurant, a 150 Seat function room, expanded bar areas and brought the entire brewing & bottling process in house (bottling and additional brewing was previously handled at Shipyard Brewery). The new building also incorporates many green building technologies, including one of the largest solar arrays north of Concord, as well as state of the art energy saving techniques within the brewing process itself. "Sustainable design practices are extremely important to us" Bennett says "and it was great to be able to work these into this project."
