Professional Organizer Julie Seibert, Healing through Organization, to Teach Organizing Your Office

Award winning professional green organizer Julie Seibert of Raleigh, NC, will teach a workshop on Organizing your Office Monday, February 25, 2013.

PRLog - Feb. 8, 2013 - RALEIGH, N.C. -- “Whether or not people want to admit it, you are judged by clients and co-workers on how your desk and office look.  You may be losing business or being passed on a promotion because people assess your skills by how messy your desk is.  You don’t have to be a perfect or Type A to get organized.  With some easy to learn skills, organizing your office can be a breeze,” stated professional organizer Julie Seibert.  She continued, “Here are a few statistics about being disorganized in the workplace:  

• The average executive wastes 150 hours yearly looking for documents; the hourly employee double that at 300 hours.

•1 in 20 documents is gone and lost forever. Despite the increase in technology, paper usage up 14% in the past few years.

•73% managers form impressions of workers by the way their desks are organized. They believe that being disorganized indicates you are not ready for additional responsibilities.

•Nearly 70% of office workers believe colleagues with messy desks are less career driven.

The workshop will be held at The Center for Excellence, right off the beltline near N. Hills Mall in Raleigh.  The class begins at 6:30 PM and ends at 8:30 PM. The desk, computer, filing, emails, time management, planning your day as well as the basic principles of organization and more!
