Gold Seal Award Goes to Delray Beach Senior Living Community

Feb. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – Harbour’s Edge has received the Gold Seal Award from the Governor’s Panel on Excellence in Long-Term Care. Less than three percent of licensed skilled nursing providers in Florida carry the seal. Statewide, only 19 out of 678 providers have received the honor, and Harbour’s Edge is one of only two in Palm Beach County. The Gold Seal Program awards and recognizes providers that demonstrate excellence in long-term care over a sustained period, promote the stability of the industry, and facilitate the physical, social and emotional well-being of skilled nursing residents.

Harbour’s Edge previously held the Gold Seal designation and has now earned it for another two-year period. The award is part of a ranking system created by the state of Florida in 2000 as a way for consumers to rank care quality of skilled nursing providers.
