The Hope Institute Raffles Off $2.45 Million Dream House

The Hope Institute for Children and Families Chicago Dream House Raffle launches January 28 to raise critical funds for children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities in Illinois.

Feb. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Some lucky person with a $150 raffle ticket will win an exquisite $2.45 million Chicago dream home or $1.5 million in cash in the 2nd Annual Chicago Dream House Raffle to benefit The Hope Institute for Children and Families (http://www.thehopeinstitute.us/). Starting January 28, individuals can purchase $150 raffle tickets for a chance at the dream house, along with more than 1,000 other prizes, including cars, vacations and jewelry. A total of 1,200 prizes will be awarded making the odds of winning a prize 1 in 41.

The grand prize is a luxurious 3,900-square-foot custom home located in the Gold Coast neighborhood near downtown Chicago.  The three-bedroom home includes four and one-half baths, a 2,600-square-foot private terrace with panoramic city views, a gourmet kitchen featuring a 250-bottle wine refrigerator, two family rooms, two guest suites and a private gym.

“As our largest fundraising initiative, Chicago Dream House Raffle proceeds will help The Hope Institute for Children and Families provide educational, residential and health care services to more than 23,000 Illinois children and their families each year, “ said Clint Paul, interim president and CEO of The Hope Institute.  “We are thrilled Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak will help raise support for our programs and awareness of autism as our celebrity spokesperson,” said Paul.  The Hope Institute serves children with multiple developmental and physical disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.

The Hope Institute will sell up to 50,000 tickets for Chicago Dream House Raffle.  As an incentive to purchase tickets early, the raffle includes cash prizes up to $25,000 in each of three early bird drawings for tickets purchased before the deadlines of March 1, March 29 and April 26. Other early bird prizes include the winner’s choice of a Mini Cooper, Toyota Prius or a Ford Mustang and trips to Prague, Czech Republic; Vienna, Austria; Maui, Hawaii; Jamaica and more.

The deadline to purchase tickets for the grand prize drawing is May 24, and the drawing will be held on June 9.  For a complete list of prizes go to http://www.chicagoraffle.com.

Any individual who buys three or more tickets is automatically entered into a multi-ticket drawing for a chance to win a 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 Roadster or $50,000 cash. Multiple tickets purchased at the same time are eligible for discounts. If ticketholders refer a friend to purchase a ticket, they will be included in the Refer-a-Friend drawing and given the chance to win $15,000 cash or a Smart car.

January 28 - Raffle begins

March 1 - Early bird I deadline (tickets must be purchased by this date to be eligible for the first drawing)

March 13 - Early bird I drawing - $25,000 or the winner’s choice of a Mini Cooper, Toyota Prius or Ford Mustang

March 29 - Early bird II deadline

April 10 - Early bird II drawing - 1st prize winner’s choice of $5,000 cash or trip to either Prague, Czech Republic or Vienna, Austria. 2nd prize winner’s choice of $5,000 cash or trip to either Maui, Hawaii or Jamaica.

April 26 - Early bird III deadline

May 8 - Early bird III drawing - Winner’s choice of $5,000 cash or trip to either Costa Rica or Quebec City, Montreal & Toronto

May 24 - Grand prize drawing deadline

June 9 - Grand prize, multi-ticket, Refer-a-friend drawings Dream House, $1.5 Million annuity or $1 million lump sum cash; the 2nd prize is $45,000 cash or a choice between Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz C 250 Coupe, BMW X3.
