Author Daniel Diaz III is a hispanic descendant and a two-time graduate from Rochester, N.Y., with a master's degree in Management and a bachelor's of science in Computer Science. Over the past thirteen years, he has worked in the aerospace, defense, software, finance, and high tech manufacturing industry sectors. He is a well-rounded technologist and business expert who knows how to carefully merge technology with business. On the technical side, he has deep enterprise experience with managing database, software, and Web systems. He knows how to develop and implement solutions big and small. He has a real passion for B2B technology. On the business side, besides his strong educational credentials, he brings extensive leadership, finance, and executive experience.
For Fellow Nerds, his highlighted competencies include proficiency with commonly used object oriented program languages such as C#, VB.Net and Java; and expertise with frequently used database systems like MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, and Microsoft SQL Server. He is capable of working with most mainstream operating systems like Linux, Mac, and Microsoft Windows. His technology output is influenced by his holistic and analytical view of business, and his conservative investment strategies for maintaining positive cash flow.
On a personal note, Daniel is married with five children, the youngest of whom was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 2011. In his spare time, he enjoys nautics, fishing, stock acquisition, and spending time with his family. He comes from generations of business owners.
