Feb. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Southwest Florida Symphony comes to BIG ARTS Wednesday, February 13, for an island concert led by Guest Conductor David Itkin. Tickets are $36 General, $5 for Child 17 and under. Concert begins at 8 p.m. in BIG ARTS Schein Performance Hall, 900 Dunlop Road.

The Southwest Florida Symphony is recognized as one of the finest ensembles in the region. The orchestra attracts the best musicians from across the country and continues to achieve new heights of expressiveness and virtuosity. The 2010-2011 Season marked their 50th anniversary. Their “Symphony on Sanibel” program will include Strauss: Prelude Capriccio; Beethoven: No. 4; and Mendelssohn: Piano Concerto No. 1 with piano soloist Hyojin Ahn.

The next Southwest Florida Symphony “Symphony on Sanibel” concert is Wednesday, March 13 at BIG ARTS.
