Initially, the collection campaign was facing a challenge in the first half of the campaign with regard to number of toys donated, but San Diego residents rose to the occasion and helped us surpass the number of toys collected over last year. We’re grateful for all who donated during the campaign that allows us to provide a meaningful holiday celebration for families who are in need." The US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program delivers new toys during the holidays, with the purpose of sending a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders (toysfortots.org)
