Feb. 2, 2013 - HOLLYWOOD—“This day has been a long time coming,” said film and TV producer-director Lovelace Lee III. After many years of preparation, Lee is embarking on his first feature film called “Around the Bed.” “The inspiration for such an ambitious script came from many of my very good friends in the industry,” he said.
Lee, who has written many feature scripts, radio programs, commercials and a TV pilot, wanted to do something different at the end of 2012. “I have so many talented friends in the entertainment industry,” Lee said. “ ‘Around the Bed’ is a showcase for friends that I’ve come to respect as actors.” “I believe in creating win-win situations,”
he said. “Around the Bed” will star four of Lee’s actor friends and he’ll round out the cast. Lee knows he’s safe. “If I surround myself with actors this good, I can’t help but look good, too.”
“Around the Bed” will be Lee’s debut as a feature film director and producer. He’s in discussions now with potential investors for the small feature film. “Around the Bed” will be shot in and around Los Angeles.
