Feb. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Award nominated producer and writer, Raoul Peter Mongilardi, son of national hero, Air Wing Commander Peter Mongilardi, addressed a select group of officers at the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Miramar regarding transitioning into the civilian work force.

Focusing on the practical elements the Officers may face, Mongliardi covered an expanse of topics from resume and portfolio presentation to dressing for success.  "We need to be of service to the ladies and gentlemen who are in service to us, as civilians.  It is by this standard that we help each other in every capacity.  If you think about how that translates into many reciprocating avenues, the possibilities are wide, mutually healing, and far ranging” said Mongilardi, who is always enthusiastic to support the men and women in all branches of service, whether military or in a civilian capacity.

The event was further supported by LtCol. Julian Vazquez, a retired Marine aviator, whose background includes work as Engineering Manager for Rockwell, Northrop Grumman, Aerojet Electro-Optic Systems (now Northrop Grumman), Loral Electro-Optical Systems and specializing with infrared countermeasures and video cameras/systems for military and law enforcement applications and Lindley Lehman, United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate applying for OCS Class 2013. Volunteer photographer for the GORUCK Challenge sponsoring the Green Beret Foundation and Silent Warrior Scholarship Foundation.

Raoul Mongliardi is the founder of OM~RPM Productions.  He is currently in development of his second feature film, The Burning Blue.  Website: http://www.projectburningblue.com
