The 2013 World Book Awards are officially underway.
Last year's World Book Awards were an enormous success, with many new authors achieving acclaim for their groundbreaking works. The 2013 edition of the competition promises to be even more significant thanks to the addition of nearly 40 book categories, vastly increasing the number of potential entrants.
The 2013 World Book Awards will provide groundbreaking promotional services for nominees and winners, such as the inaugural World Book Awards Ceremony. For the first time ever, nominated books will be part of an actual awards show, complete with a host and presenters.
The combined value of the publicity opportunities available through the 2013 World Book Awards are valued at over $15,000 USD.
Books published in 2013, 2012, or 2011 with an ISBN number are eligible to enter the competition before the October 8, 2013 deadline. Galley copies are welcome.
World Book Awards winners and nominees will have the right to highlight their award on their book covers, Web sites, and marketing materials.
