Unite’s former Dundee office to become flats

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 1, 2013 - A Dundee based developer and investor has purchased the former office premises of Unite at 17/19 South Tay Street within Dundee’s city centre and commenced conversion of the accommodation into two 2-bedroom flats.  

The purchase price was not disclosed however Ryden, joint agents with London based Keningtons, was marketing the property which extends to 135 sq m (1,455 sq ft) over upper and lower ground floors at offers over £170,000.

Unite, the UK's largest Trade Union, which owned and occupied the building has moved to modern premises in the city's Blackness Road.

Andy Boal, head of Ryden's Dundee office reports that there was a very encouraging level of interest in the property from business occupiers and residential and leisure developers leading to tight competition at the closing date.
