SCS Engineers Relocates its Environmental Health Services, Las Vegas Area Office

Jan. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Henderson, NV - SCS Engineers (SCS) is pleased to announce the relocation of its Environmental Health Services (EHS) Division office from North Las Vegas to Henderson, Nevada. This new location provides more room for growth and will better serve SCS’s clientele.

Services offered through this office include: industrial hygiene and safety consulting, mold investigations and monitoring, asbestos and lead control, litigation support, environmental assessments and programs, loss control programs, workers compensation management, laboratory services, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) training programs.

SCS’s laboratory services include American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Accredited Environmental Microbiology laboratory analysis for fungi and bacteria in environmental samples, as well as asbestos analysis capability. More than 100 safety, environmental, health and construction management training courses are offered.  The office presently presents California-approved asbestos training courses as well.

Sandra Ripplinger, a Board Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP), heads this SCS office. Ms. Ripplinger has more than 25 years of experience working in indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, mold, radon, environmental site assessments, and environmental health and safety issues. She is a licensed asbestos building inspector, asbestos project monitor, project designer and management planner, and an EPA certified lead based paint inspector/risk assessor/project designer.
