When a friend of master photographer Amanda Brown announced that she would be hosting a Collector’s Party Amanda was overwhelmed. “She told me that she had been saving up to buy one of the MINE! project pieces and that she wanted to celebrate by throwing a party. That was the most touching and flattering email that I have received this year. I love that my collectors are such a part of my life.” said Amanda Brown.
Collecting Parties value collectors as patrons that help artists to continue working. Artist are fully aware that art collectors invest in what they value the most. That they shape the world around them, their interiors, their life with the works of art made by the artists they collect.
This party will be a celebration for everyone. For the collectors, the celebration of the moment when art pieces acquired from Amanda Brown’s collections become a part of their home and life. For Amanda, it’s the celebration of getting to meet those who have helped her along her journey around the world.
The date to save is June 15, 2013. The location will be in Atlanta, GA, but the exact whereabouts will remain a mystery until the week before when it is announced by private invitation. Those who have purchased a limited edition print or one of the specialty pieces from the MINE! project will be invited.
The party is also the only public appearance that Amanda will be making while in the States before going to Peru.
“I cannot wait to meet, hug and thank everyone who is supporting me on this Adventure by buying a piece of artwork. As a non-heiress artist, those purchases are my only means of income…which can be scary and gratifying! The work that you are allowing me to create as I travel – the children’s book series, the ability to share my experiences ad-free on my website, and the volunteer positions that I have been able to fulfill this past year have changed me in so many ways that now show in the foundation of my soul.” Said Amanda, “this party is my way of thanking you for coming along on my journey with me.”
You can view the available prints in her store to make a purchase at Store.AmandasBigWorldAdventure.com. Then mark the date on your calendar. This will be a celebration on all levels!
