By: www.amazingconcert.com A Valentine’s Day Concert for Romantics Violin Virtuoso touches the heartstrings in his Canadian Debut with Toronto Concert Orchestra “Seybold produces a glowing tone in the lower registers and fireworks in the upper ones.” Described by the reviewers as a ‘daring artist’ the young German violinist Christoph Seybold has performed both as a soloist and chamber musician through Europe, North and South America and Japan. Seybold appeared in concert with Kerry Stratton on a European tour in 2011. “It has been my pleasure to accompany many fine violinists,” Seybold began violin lessons at age 4. Majoring in violin performance at the Universities in Cologne and Hannover, he received additional musical input from world class musicians such as Pinchas Zuckerman, Rainer Kussmaul, Shlomo Mintz and Ida Haendl. Seybold who currently plays a 1753 Niccolo Gagliano, will be performing the Tschaikovsky Concerto in a programme that also includes an Orchestral Suite by Camille Saint Saens and the Toronto premiere of Introduction and Autumn Prelude by Canadian composer John S. Gray. Check out http://www.youtube.com/ Check out http://www.youtube.com/ February 14, 2013 8:00 pm Glenn Gould Studio, CBC Tickets $40.00 Student/ End
