In announcing the endorsement of the Los Angeles School Police Officer’s Association, President James Ream said, “ Mónica García has long been a champion for children. We need her on the School Board to help us keep students, families, teachers and all employees safe.”
Garcia also earned the endorsement of State Senator Alex Padilla, whose Senate Bill 10 would improve the safety of school children by expanding school districts’ ability to remove potentially dangerous individuals from campuses.
Recently, García also received the endorsement of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, the Service Employees International Union, Assembly Member Raul Bocanegra, Ret.
