PRLog - Jan. 30, 2013 - NEW YORK -- NEW YORK, N.Y., Jan. 29, 2013 - Sean Brady, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. and co-founder of the firm's Global Data Center Advisory Group, is slated to address CRE's Second Annual Greater New York Data Center Summit & Expo on February 27, 2013. The event is expected to draw more than 300 real estate and technology professionals to the New York Bar Association in Midtown Manhattan.
Brady will be joined by Colton Brown of DuPont Fabros and Shelagh Montgomery of Quality Technology in presenting the "New Jersey Data Center Investment & Development Outlook."
"We will take an in-depth look at current trends in the New Jersey marketplace, where leasing activity has slowed and the vacancy factor has climbed to approximately 25 percent," said Brady. "We have seen third-party providers take down their large blocks of space and have plenty of space to grow into.
"With the excess capacity in the market, this is a great time to outsource your data center because of the vacancy factor and the amount of competition in New Jersey, which has the largest concentration of third-party data centers in the country," said Brady. "Our presentation will take a close look at these trends-and much more."
The event will begin with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. For more information, call (617) 501-6075, or e-mail email@example.com.
