Monet says that the main  person that led her to choosing caregiving as a career was her grandmother.

She believes that her most memorable caregiving experiences would have to be this recent experience that she has encountered with her grandmother. She was caring for her as she usually does, grandmother wanted to talk so she sat down and talked to her about the past family reunions that the family would have, they talked and laughed and just had a great time bringing up the good old times. Monet just enjoyed bringing joy to her that day.

Being a caregiver has taught her so many things,  it has even re-taught her things she has already been taught. It has taught Monet of how to be a better person, how to be more caring, more passionate, more responsible, how to be more of a people's person. It has also given her more insight on the lives of the elderly.

This caregiver manages the stress that comes with caregiving  by writing poetry. She has loved poetry for a very long time. She didn't start writing poetry until she was about 13 years old, that is when Monet wrote her very first piece titled "Love is" and ever since that poem she simply couldn't stop writing.
