The 5th Annual Rhythm of Gospel Awards & Partners Announce A Music Health and Wellness Festival

Jan. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- All roads leads to Jacksonville Florida, July 24-28, 2013 for the 5th  Annual Rhythm Of Gospel Awards. (www.therhythmofgospelawards.com) This televised awards show is an annual event filled with a variety of innovative and exciting showcases, and achievement galas, bringing in over 6,500 excited, tourists, church, social and civic groups, families and business professionals throughout the entire USA, Canada, and Bahamas.

This awards show is the “Official & The Largest” Independent Gospel Show, giving independent gospel artist both a national platform, and a positive collaboration which supports artist of all ethnicities in various genres of gospel music. This years’ event will spotlight 54 categories of recognition and will honor 16 Distinguished Pastors, National & Independent Gospel Artists and Radio Personalities, giving them the opportunity to network formally while congratulating trailblazers from various sectors of the community and music industry.

Contributions to the Independent Gospel Music industry have been the best-kept secret in America. This award show is an ongoing project and has been in existence for 5 years, and already has acclaimed excellence being rated #3 amongst some of the more prestigious awards shows in the nation. This newly acclaimed show is constantly growing and is said to become one of the nation’s best premiered gospel events in the country for unfound gospel talent.

In collaboration with this year’s awards celebration, we are also proud to announce that The National & Independent Gospel Music Association (N.I.G.M.A.) one of this years’ hosting and sponsoring organizations will hosts a “Music Health & Wellness Festival” on Friday July 26th 2013 for Families Of Slain Children Inc. This outdoor festival will feature over 15 different local, regional and national musical acts from Alternative Christian Rock, Southern Gospel, Traditional, Contemporary, Gospel Hip Hop, Urban, and Folk music.  

Special Guest Appearances will be made by national recording artists and stellar award winning Mrs. Dorothy Norwood, Dr. Charles G. Hayes, B Chase Williams & Shabach, Dwayne Woods, Lemmie Battles, Wes Morgan, Tonya Baker, Shirley Murdock, Michelle Prather, and BET Sunday’s Bests Finalist Maurice Griffin.
