The Telekomet Komet API supports upwards of 30 services including real-time VoIP activations, real-time DSL prequal’s, instant suspend/unsuspend, and Telekomet’s own support ticket system for resellers. The Komet API is built on the REST standard, simply posting a block of properly formatted XML to the web service initiates a API request.
Even without their own existing back office telecom resellers can use the Komet API to build a multitude of applications quickly and efficiently, including but not limited to a public facing ordering web site for digital phone and high speed services or a “My Account” tool for it’s retail or wholesale customers.
Telekomet offers it’s Komet XML API to it’s existing telecom resellers for a one-time fee of $75 and allows it’s resellers to offer their service wholesale and create an unlimited number of sub-resellers. By offering a well documented comprehensive API Telekomet hopes to expand it’s reach in the wholesale marketplace while giving it’s resellers the possibility to offer their telecom services across multiple platforms as they see fit.
