Honda Raises the Bar for Energy Efficiency

Honda sets the bar a little higher for the automobile industry.

Jan. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Honda automobiles (http://www.barrysandershonda.com/#mnuNewCars) are raising the bar for energy efficiency, proving it isn’t just a phase of our culture. Honda automobile assembly plants in Ohio earned EPA ENERGY STAR certification and the plant in Indiana earned the designation for the first time.

Honda has continuously emphasized the efficiency model into production, but the expansion of the assembly plant efficiency is a new high for the automobile industry. Earning an EPA ENERGY STAR certification displays that the assembly plant ranks in the top 25 percent of auto assembly plants in the nation with regard to energy performance.

This certification is based upon the amount of energy needed to produce and automobile, including factors such as vehicle size and production volume.

Honda didn't settle with just one plant getting certification, but has continued to increase its emphasis on energy efficiency, which increased to the total of three plants earning certification. By focusing on assembly plant efficiency, Honda continues to deliver quality vehicles to Oklahoma Honda buyers (http://www.barrysandershonda.com/#mnuUsedCars), while making a large impact on decreasing how automobiles affect our community.

Luckily for Oklahomans, Barry Sanders Honda (http://www.barrysandershonda.com/) boasts everyday energy-efficient vehicles at their lot right now! We are located at 4300 W 6th Ave., Stillwater, OK 74074 or call us at 1-888-479-0430.
