GTM Sportswear Unveils New, State-of-the-Art UltraFuse Sublimation Center in the Midwest

Jan. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Manhattan, Kan. - GTM Sportswear® (GTM) is pleased to announce the opening of a new, state-of-the-art UltraFuseTM Sublimation Center at the GTM Sportswear Campus in Manhattan, Kan., the first of its kind in the Midwest.

GTM’s new UltraFuse uniforms are created with an advanced dye sublimation technology in which team graphics, names and logos are heat-infused directly into fabric. The sublimation process allows for greater range of design and color possibilities and results in a light-weight, breathable uniform made for lasting performance.

UltraFuse uniforms are part of the GTM SelectTM line of custom sports apparel currently available for volleyball, track, basketball and football teams at the youth, school and club levels nationwide. UltraFuse cheerleading uniforms will soon be available in 2013.

The new UltraFuse Sublimation Center and the relocation of the GTM Select cheerleading uniform cut-and-sew facility from Texas to Kansas, will lead to significant job growth within the state of Kansas, Manhattan and surrounding communities. Utilizing an incentive package from the Kansas Department of Commerce valued at over $2 million, GTM looks to create nearly 650 new jobs between 2013 and 2017.
