With the Russian Federation’s Transportation Strategy 2030, the Government has launched a new Civil Aviation Programme. The investment volume is estimated at 9 billion dollars, with over 100 sites currently undergoing reconstruction and modernisation with around 50 of them expected to be completed by 2015.

In addition to this, from 2012 – 2020 Russia will host several International events that will mean the eyes of the world are on Russia:
