ENF’s recruitment process was carried out over three monthsin several stages starting with soliciting candidates, filtering applications, short-listing, interviewing candidates, and finally selecting the deserving scholars who met ENF’s requirements and criteria. The recruitment process was developed in 2012 with the focus on attracting and selecting new scholars while enabling ENF to tailor capacity building programs that willfulfill scholar’s needs; the recruitment process includesplacement tests such as the IQ, EQ and English language tests. Moreover, field visits to the shortlisted candidates’ homes were carried out in order to ensurethat the selection of scholars is compatible with ENF’s targeted group of under privileged passionate youth who are eager to continue their education.

The Scholarship Assessment Committeeadopted a holistic scientific approach based on best practices for selecting aspiring and talented scholars. We hope that this process will enable ENF to widen its scope and expand its outreach in an efficient and transparent manner.”
It’s worth mentioning that Elia Nuqul Foundation will soon be holding an Orientation Day for the newstudents to strengthen the relationship between scholars and ENF’s board members and to connect with ENF fellows in addition to getting acquainted with the Foundation’s vision, mission and objectives.
