Casal Brokers Sale of $2.7 Million Doral Warehouse to Flower Distributor

(Jan. 29, 2013) –The Casal Group brokered the sale of a 25,000-square-foot warehouse in Doral to the principals of flower distributor Esprit Miami.  The $2.7 million sale marks a new expansion for Esprit, which purchased the building located at 11475 N.W. 39th Street from Korean sewing machine manufacturer Sunstar USA.

The Martindale Family Trust, whose principals own Esprit Miami, purchased the property as part of an expansion of its international flower distribution services.  The company, which has been shopping for a new facility for the past several months, plans to add refrigeration and improve the overall utility of the building, according to Ernesto Casal, principal of Casal Group.

“Owner-users are returning to the marketplace,” said Casal, who served as lead broker on the sale.  “While institutions have been the major players in recent years, a turn in the economy and new optimism have brought owner-occupiers back into the mix.”
