Romeo's Pizza Delivers Pounds of Canned Goods to Local Food Banks

Jan. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Corporate staff from Romeo's Pizza picked up the canned goods at all 21 Cleveland Romeo's Pizza locations and returned to the Corporate Office in Medina where a rented U-Haul truck was waiting.  Most of the Romeo's Pizza locations had 6-10 boxes of canned goods.  The Cuyahoga Falls Romeo's Pizza had more than 10 boxes that contained 451 items.

In addition to the delivery to the Akron Canton Food Bank and the Cleveland Food Bank, Romeo's Pizza also donated canned goods to the Second Harvest Food Bank and Feeding Medina County.  The Mid-Ohio Food Bank received donations from Romeo's Pizza locations in Columbus.

The Food Drive was from November 27 - December 30.  Romeo's Pizza offered customers $1 off their order when they donated to the Food Drive.  Donations were accepted at each Romeo's Pizza location and some customers gave canned good donations to the delivery driver at the time of the pizza delivery.
