Vacancy Rate for Fenway Apartments at 5.48%

Local real estate website Fenway Pads has determined that 5.48% of the apartments in Fenway are available for rent.

Jan. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- This number was determined by analyzing data from Fenway Pads massive property listing database, using a sample of 2,664 Fenway apartments (with the exclusion of luxury listings). While a 5.48% vacancy rate isn’t astoundingly high, it also isn’t hopelessly low. The Fenway market isn’t wide open, but there are still more choices for renters than there are in an area experiencing a tighter rental market, like Somerville.

The Fenway area has seen a nice amount of growth in the number and quality of apartments in the area over the last few years, so it’s natural that there is a lot of interest in the renting in the area. This means that while there are still options for those looking to rent a new Fenway apartment, those people need to get their apartment search started sooner rather than later. Since many apartment leases in Fenway have a September 1st start date, getting in touch with a qualified real estate agent now can be key to making sure you find the Fenway apartment you’re looking for while its still available.
