DECEPTION (Vices & Virtues) Book 1
-- Justin Patterson has led a very sheltered life with an uncaring mother and an absent father. He has always been the underdog that has suffered bullying at school and work. In the small bedsit he shares with his mother he has no privacy at all. He goes in and out of various jobs with great frequency due to his inability to communicate with others. At one place of work with a prosthetics make-up artist he learns enough to gather together his own collection of disguises. When he leaves the job he is delighted that his next job comes with accommodation. Finally he has the chance to get away from his mother's constant observation. With his new independence comes a sense of not only freedom but power, and he soon realises that he is not willing to relinquish this power. It quickly becomes clear to him that his talent for disguise can achieve for him the life that he has fantasised about. When it becomes a reality it is too addictive to give up. Within a short space of time he is a wanted man who has to make every effort to stay one step ahead of the police. That is until he finds the perfect solution and one that will make him remain at large indefinitely.
