The 2012 Annual Awards took a fresh look at the web hosting industry. The awards’ scope was expanded to cover the increased demand for cloud services by adding three new categories reflecting the latest developments in the cloud space.
Awards were presented in 10 categories covering the entire range of web hosting services. Additionally, in a community-focused competition, HostReview 's visitors had the chance to determine the best web hosting providers of 2012 in the 5th Readers' Choice Award, sponsored by WebiMax. Over 10,000 visitors took part in the nominations and voting rounds of the campaign.
