Follow on Google News | Michael Keister Proves that Ending World Hunger is a Family EffortWhen it comes to charitable contributions, Michael Keister is making it a family effort -- bringing in 6-year old son, Gabe to help as well.
By: Cowtown Creative, LLC “We spent a full day putting together meals that could help feed children Gabe's age,” Keister said. “It was a long day, but you should have seen his smile at the end of it. He was proud of his accomplishment.” Stop Hunger Now facilitates the distribution of food and emergency supplies to developing countries around the world, on a mission to end world hunger in partnership with corporate and private donors and volunteers. Companies like C-Level Management work with Stop Hunger Now to coordinate meal-packaging events. Volunteers like Keister and his son Gabe have helped package more than 65 million meals through workdays like the one sponsored by C-Level Management. It's a labor that Keister believes provides an important lesson for his young son. “Gabe understands that people are hungry in the world, and he truly wants to help,” Keister explained. “Helping package those meals was a small part of a huge effort to end world hunger, and my hope for Gabe is that he will continue to want to help others in any way he can.” The C-Level Management event met its goal of packaging 100,000 emergency meals and raising $25,000 for Stop Hunger Now. About Michael Keister With more than 7,000 chartered flights to over 150 countries on six continents, Michael Keister is not only an aviation expert, but also a true professional when it comes to organ procurement and air ambulance services.
