BPS Bioscience, Inc. (“BPS”) announced today the availability of several luciferase reporter cell lines for studying the Retinoic Acid Receptor (RAR), Notch, and Wnt signaling pathways. The newly added stable cell lines are valuable research tools for identifying small molecule modulators of key cellular signaling pathways. The pathways are associated with a number of human diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases and various human cancers. Development of new or repurposed drugs requires the ability to rapidly screen the effects of compounds and biological therapeutics on the expression of pathway-regulated genes. These cell lines were developed to meet the market need for rapid, sensitive, and high-throughput identification and analysis of agonists or antagonists on regulation of the RAR, Notch, and Wnt signaling pathways in whole cells.
