Crawford Media Services acquires assets and takes over the management of CineFilm Lab Services.

Jan. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- CineFilm, which opened in 1977, announced in December 2012 that it would be closing. The closing of the lab would have had a negative impact on the production community not only in Georgia but also throughout the Southeast.  Crawford Media Services felt that there is still a need for film processing.  Crawford and CineFilm worked diligently on an agreement where Crawford would assume operations and management of the laboratory facility and continue to offer the same high caliber of film processing that CineFilm has been known for.

Combining the capabilities of both Crawford and CineFilm offers the production community a full range of services including 35mm & 16mm negative processing and printing, film transfer, color correction, dailies, and physical or electronic distribution for a complete post production solution.  “CineFilm now being managed by Crawford just makes sense.” says Jim Ogburn, General Manager of the Crawford/CineFilm lab, “It’s important that we continue to be the trusted partner for anyone shooting film, and the strength of the two entities will ensure that we are.”
