MMI personnel installing the new digital X-Ray system
MMI has installed an advanced Digital X-Ray system using Konica CR and Del Medical technology to provide fast, high resolution medical imaging to the team. The system was installed at the BB&T Center, the home arena for the Panthers. It will be used by the Panthers and visiting teams to provide immediate, high-resolution medical imaging during NHL hockey games. Its speed, dependability and image quality will enable team medical personnel to quickly determine whether players can continue to play or instead need further medical attention.
Managed Medical Imaging, LLC (MMI) is one of the fastest growing medical imaging equipment service providers in the Southeast and has a diverse customer base that includes major hospitals, private imaging centers and many private practices. But this is their first professional sports team customer and they looked forward to the challenges of meeting the Florida Panthers needs.
