Former estate agent makes the move to Belvoir Lettings

Jan. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The latest addition to the Belvoir network will provide tenants and landlords in the Weston-super-Mare areas with Belvoir’s award winning service, offering a variety of good quality residential properties ranging from luxury apartments to family homes.  

Domenica’s new career in the lettings industry follows numerous years working as personal assistant and right hand woman to the managing directors of a marquee and big top hire company.  Prior to that she gained experience of more permanent dwellings as assistant manager for a new homes and re-sales estate agent and worked as a sales negotiator for a nationwide estate agent.

Working with estate agents gave Domenica an insight into the property market and this developed into a genuine interest in all aspect of property and housing.  

“For various reasons there has been a shift away from property ownership in the U.K. and the lettings industry is on the increase with people now beginning to accept renting as the norm,” says Domenica. “I noticed this trend and it led me to investigate the lettings industry as a career opportunity. My research introduced me to the Belvoir franchisee offering and the company’s nationally accredited award winning service gave me the confidence to take the plunge and become my own boss.”

Formerly from Kettering in Northamptonshire, Domenica did not hesitate to make the 150-mile move to Weston-super-Mare.

“It was a big decision to leave Kettering, as my family has lived there for over 15 years and during that time we made lot of friends,” admits Domenica. “However, the opportunity to open Belvoir Weston-super-mare and embrace all the challenges that this will present was a fantastic incentive.

“I know I can offer great customer service and am capable of running an organised and efficient business, but being part of the Belvoir team and benefiting from the company’s vast knowledge and expertise is very reassuring for a newcomer.  The support given is fantastic and the company’s credibility as a nationwide franchise made it a natural choice for me.”

Domenica ‘s daughter Daniella is currently at university but has plans to join Domenica in the Belvoir office after graduation.
