The Green Deal: How it can Help You.

A quick introduction to a new Government Scheme, ‘The Green Deal’, and just what it provides for you.

Jan. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- From the 28th January 2013, homeowners and installers will be able to become a part of the government’s new scheme ‘The Green Deal’. The Green Deal is designed to reduce the UK’s carbon emissions by improving the energy efficiency in existing buildings and homes. This is by increasing the efficiency of things like boilers, windows, insulation and even creating your own energy.

The scheme is looking to allow homeowners to install various energy-saving improvements without having to pay all costs up front, right away. With most Green Deal improvements expected to reduce your energy bill, you repay the installation through your existing bill. The repayments should be no more than what the bill payer should save and so you won’t notice any increase in your outgoings as you pay it off. This means that after gradually paying off your new installation you will see your bills drop as you save on the amount of gas, electricity or oil you use.

The scheme works in a set of 5 stages to make the procedure as simple and as easy as possible!  To read about The Green Deal in more detail, follow the link to our latest blog post: http://www.discountedheating.co.uk/blog/blog/the-green-deal/
