SPCA, Fairy Godmothers Among Charities Exhibiting At Bridal Expo

On February 24th, Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino will be playing host to the largest Bridal Expo in the area, but this show has a bit of a twist.

Along with the traditional exhibitors such as dressmakers, caterers, wedding planners and the like, The Philadelphia Bridal Expo on The Delaware will be incorporating giving back to the community as part of the show’s theme.

Current Expo Scheduled Community Exhibitors:

The Animal Control Team of Philadelphia and the Delaware County SPCA will be represented at the expo looking to increase awareness of their organizations to newly forming families.

*The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is the region's largest animal care and control service provider.

*The Delaware County SPCA is dedicated to adoption, intervention and prevention programs that protect and improve the health and welfare of companion animals and support the people who care for them.

Attendees to the expo are encouraged to bring old Prom, Bridesmaid, or Wedding dresses they would like to donate to the “Fairy Godmothers” Exhibit at the expo. Fairy Godmothers, Inc. provides qualified high school girls whose financial situations are such as otherwise would preclude their ability to attend their prom by providing them prom gowns, shoes, and similar accessories which have been donated to the organization.

The bridal expo is free to attend, and attendees are encouraged to pre-register in advance at the event website. Pre-registered attendees will receive gift packs at the expo including a free Atlantic City Stay at Harrah’s among other items, and will be eligible for door prizes sponsored by participating vendors.
