Members of family of shooting victim William Curlin Baynes
What: Derek Sells, Esq., Managing Partner, The Cochran Firm, will be joined by Jason Leventhal, Esq., Partner, Leventhal & Klein, and the family of William Curlin Baynes, who was shot and killed at a routine traffic stop, at a press conference to discuss the outcome of the investigation of the case that is being conducted by the Orange County District Attorney’s office.
On October 4, 2012, Mr. Baynes was pulled over by a New York State Trooper during a routine traffic stop on Route 32 in Newburgh. Mr. Baynes, who was unarmed, was shot in the back and died.
