Feb. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Detroit, MI - February 6, 2013 - With the release of the latest episode, The Projection Booth podcast has reached a landmark one hundred episodes.

"With our special episodes, this is actually our 125th episode, but who's counting?  Oh, that's right, we are," quips Projection Booth co-host Mike White.  "When we started the podcast back in March 2011, I wasn't sure if we'd make 10 episode, much less 100."

Each week White and his co-host Rob St. Mary dissect films old and modern from classics like Alfred Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt to films still in production like Justin Weinstein & Tyler Measom's An Honest Liar (a documentary on The Amazing Randi). The show's producers have interviewed a wide array of filmmakers, scholars and fans such as Menahem Golan, Uwe Boll, William Sanderson, Marshall Brickman, Albert Pyun, John Waters, Monte Hellman, Rutger Hauer, Lance Henriksen, Sid Haig, Robert Downey, Radley Metzger, Nicholas Meyer, Lloyd Kaufman and Patrick Warburton.

The 100th episode focuses on the cult classic "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park" in which Mike & Rob interviewed the film's producer, Terry Morse Jr, and a "Kisstorian," Rob Albanese.  The hosts were joined by John Stockwell, a KISS tribute artist, who brought a fan perspective to the proceedings.

"We're both very excited about our upcoming episodes," says Rob St. Mary.  "We've got episodes on some very controversial movies in the works including Song of the South, Bamboozled, and The Last Temptation of Christ."

"We're also dealing with more populist fare as well," adds Mike White. "Blue Velvet, Gremlins, Death Race 2000; along side other films that not everyone may have seen like Singapore Sling, Death Game and Lemon Popsicle."

What are Rob and Mike doing to celebrate their big 100th episode?  "We don't have time to celebrate," says White.  "Next week we've got our big Reservoir Dogs show where we've got people calling in to add their opinions to the mix."  For some podcasters, there is no rest.
