PRLog - Jan. 26, 2013 - WASHINGTON -- EK Ray, Diabetes Awareness Advocate and Author attended the "Living In America" 2013 Inaugural Fitness Ball put on by Yala Fitness/Sports Club LA on January 19th. Laurent Amzallag, creator of Yala Fitness started the high-energy workout and was recently commissioned by Oprah to serve as the fitness expert on her “Live Your Best Life” tour.
Grammy Award winning R&B recording artist Mya, served as host to the event that raised money for Michelle Obama's Let's Move campaign. EK Ray spoke about his journey to losing 157 lbs taking the ever popular Yala Fitness classes. Ray also raffled off a free gym membership and a copy of his new book entitled, Diabetes: The Silent Killer - How I Survived.
