PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 1, 2013 - On April 26, 2012, art Nonjudgmental by KL Reyes debuted at Local 138 Bar & Lounge with first featured NYC artist, Frank Jackson. Over the last 8 months, the venue has worked with three other amazing talents, featuring two more local artists at Local 138 – Kevin Portundo and Warren Caughman - and working closely with Duluth artist, Topaz Torres for a future “exhibit in absentia” event.

In August 2012, art Nonjudgmental collaborated with Women LEAD, a notable nonprofit organization focusing on women’s empowerment and education in Nepal, to promote a united art and fundraising event for WL’s Leadership Institute.

And on January 26, 2013, art Nonjudgmental celebrated the venue's continued success and grassroots mission (promotion of local NYC art/talent), its featured and "soon-to-be" artists, collaborative nonprofit partner and NEW partnerships!

Twenty-thirteen (2013) proves to be a year of growth for art Nonjudgmental as it progresses into the digital age, expands the venue to accept and promote more diverse forms of “art,” and cultivates additional umbrellas of opportunity for the venue, its featured artists and existing partnership(s).

New multimedia partnership: In November 2012, art Nonjudgmental joined partnership with a feted multimedia executive (and Multimedia Head Engineer - Rutgers U), A.W. Fahan, taking the venue and its featured artists into the future of digital and media art portfolio -- this is a very exciting project in progress and we look forward to digitalizing future art Nonjudgmental exhibits and events, as well as working with aN’s featured artists on individualized media portfolio packages! Summer 2013: art Nonjudgmental organizing a concerted aN exhibit featuring all of the venue’s artists! There will be themed art (so if you’ve got a theme in mind and want to purchase at the event, please contact me as soon as possible), “live,” on-the-premises painting/sketching/creating, art discussion and education, art work for sale by the artists and more. **New Corporate Art Partnership: In January 2013, friend and HUGE art Nonjudgmental supporter, Samantha Varn, initiated a conversation about adding a corporate art umbrella to the venue. The purpose of the venture would be to expose aN's artists to the corporate sector. The program would work with interested companies and artists, to essentially "rent" art work for a period of time. In additon, the artists would have the option of creating themed art for corporate purchase. We are still in the very initial stages of this idea, but are hoping to bring it to fruition, so if you know of any companies, organizations, restaurants, lounge spaces, hospital buildings (i.e. pediatric divisions) to recommend, please do!
